چکیده

In many single and multi-user MIMO systems, different sorts of symbol mapping are employed. This is of course based on the modulation schemes and/or the pseudo-correlation of the signals. These can be for instance circularly symmetric or non-circular signals which are transmitted. Conventional linear transceiver processing is optimal for circularly symmetric signals but sub-optimal for non-circular signals. Considering widely linear processing at transceiver, it can be observed as generalization of the conventional linear filtering and making feasible the power reduction of the additive noise and the interferences at the equalizer output and hence providing a performance gain by capitalizing on the statistical redundancies which are exhibited by a non-circular transmitted and/or the received signal. In-phase and quadrature components of non-circular signals are processed linearly and independently without substantially large increment of computational complexity, thus allowing one to improve system performances.

Multiuser MIMO Downlink System Capacity Analysis In Wireless Communication for Time Varying Channel

Very few technologies have shown as much impact on the trajectory of evolution of wireless communication systems as multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems. MIMO systems have already been employed in the existing 802.11n and 802.16e standards resulting in a huge leap in their achievable rates. A relatively recent idea of extending the benefits of MIMO systems to multi-user scenarios seems...

Uplink Capacity of OFDM Multi-User MIMO Using Near-ML Detection in a Cellular System

Multi-user multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system has been attracting much attention due to its high spectrum efficiency. Nonlinear MIMO signal detection methods with less computational complexity have been widely studied for single-user MIMO systems. In this paper, we investigate how a lattice reduction (LR)-aided detection and a maximum likelihood detection (MLD) employing the QR decompositio...

Widely Linear Processing in MIMO FBMC/OQAM Systems

In this paper, we investigate the use of widely linear processing in multiple-input multiple-out (MIMO) systems employing filter bank based multi-carrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC/OQAM). The concept of a twostep receiver combining linear processing and widely linear processing is presented. In the first step we cancel the intrinsic interference that prevents us from expl...

SECURING INTERPRETABILITY OF FUZZY MODELS FOR MODELING NONLINEAR MIMO SYSTEMS USING A HYBRID OF EVOLUTIONARY ALGORITHMS

In this study, a Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm (MOGA) is utilized to extract interpretable and compact fuzzy rule bases for modeling nonlinear Multi-input Multi-output (MIMO) systems. In the process of non- linear system identi cation, structure selection, parameter estimation, model performance and model validation are important objectives. Furthermore, se- curing low-level and high-level ...
